Workplace bullying amongst gastroenterology residents

Background: Bullying is defined as subjecting someone to undue mental torture by virtue of being at a superior position. Unfortunately, the prevalence bullying in Pakistan quite high and gastroenterology residents are not an exception. Objective: To identify behaviors experienced post graduate clinical environment strategies used for coping with them. Material Methods: This cross-sectional study was done Public private tertiary care hospitals Peshawar. The completed 6 months after approval research proposal. A total 132 were included proper scrutiny. pros corns explained all participants detail they given choice voluntarily withdraw from if wish do so. Two validated questionnaires namely brief cope inventory negative acts questionnaire. data analyzed using SPSS latest version. Frequencies percentages categorical p value less than 0.05 taken significant.
